Getting to Sydney Airport from North Sydney

North Sydney is the harbour's second business district, with office towers along Miller Street and the Pacific Highway, plus hotels and apartments around the station. Airport transfers cross the harbour by the Sydney Harbour Bridge or the Harbour Tunnel, then follow the Eastern Distributor and Southern Cross Drive to the terminals. The 17 km trip usually takes around 25 minutes outside peak, but the harbour crossings and Eastern Distributor get very busy on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then.
