Getting to the Overseas Passenger Terminal with Redy2GO

The Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) sits on Circular Quay West in The Rocks, at the corner of Argyle and George Streets, right beside the Harbour Bridge. There is no parking at the terminal on cruise days and no waiting bays for pickups, so a pre-booked transfer takes the stress out of getting there with your luggage.

Private vehicles drop off on the lower roadway at Circular Quay West, reached from George Street at Argyle Street, with stops limited to two minutes. Our drivers know the approach and the timing, so your bags are unloaded quickly and you can head straight in.

What to know before you sail

Arrive at least an hour early

Port Authority NSW advises arriving at least one hour before departure. Bag drop generally runs from around 9am until about 90 minutes before sailing.

There is no parking at the OPT on cruise days and no waiting bays, so pickups need to be timed well. That's what we do.

Where will my driver drop me off at the Overseas Passenger Terminal?

On the lower roadway at Circular Quay West, accessed from George Street at Argyle Street, The Rocks. Stops there are limited to two minutes, so we unload quickly.

What time should I arrive at the OPT?

Port Authority NSW recommends arriving at least an hour before departure. Bag drop generally runs from around 9am until about 90 minutes before sailing. When you book, we'll suggest a pickup time with a buffer for city traffic.

Where do I meet my driver when I disembark?

Private cars meet you outside the front of the terminal, near the palm trees, and your driver will call you when they arrive. For shuttle and group transfers, terminal ground staff will direct you to the pickup point.

What if my ship is late or disembarkation is delayed?

Tell us your ship and expected disembarkation time when you book. If anything changes on the day, call our 24/7 team on 1300 2GO NOW and we'll update your pickup.

How much luggage can I bring?

Each passenger can bring one bag plus one carry-on. Cruise trips often mean extra luggage, so let us know when you book and we'll arrange a larger vehicle or our excess baggage service.

Can you take me from Sydney Airport straight to the cruise?

Yes. We run transfers from Sydney Airport to the Overseas Passenger Terminal, and from Circular Quay back to the airport after your cruise. Add your flight details so we can track it.

Is there parking at the Overseas Passenger Terminal?

There is no parking at the OPT on cruise days. Paid parking is available nearby in The Rocks, but a transfer means you don't need to leave a car in the city for your whole cruise.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Yes. Cancel more than 24 hours before your pickup time for a full refund. You can manage your booking online any time, or call us 24/7.

Do you provide child seats?

Yes. Add baby seats or boosters when you book and they'll be fitted before we arrive.
