Why getting to Bathurst is harder than it looks

The Great Western Highway gets very busy on Bathurst weekend, especially Thursday and Friday heading west and Sunday night heading home. Reports indicate Victoria Pass on the Great Western Highway remains closed, with traffic detoured via the Darling Causeway and Chifley Road – a slower, narrower route. Always check Live Traffic NSW before you leave.
